Construction is slated to begin in early 2015 on a new $24 million, 18,000-square-foot sound stage at the Kaufman Astoria Studios – the largest film production center on the East Coast.
The project, dubbed “Stage N,” will be the 10th self-contained production facility at the landmark studios.
Studio President Hal Rosenbkuth said, “Film and television production in New York City has never been stronger. With Stage N, we will be able to accommodate even more projects and continue to make New York the film and television capital of the world.”
