At the core of Kaufman Astoria are six column-free stages including a mammoth 26,000 square foot stage - the largest east of Hollywood. In addition, there are two stages over 12,000 square feet each, and smaller stages of 8,000, 4,000 and 3,000 square feet. Support facilities are located just steps from each stage for efficient flow of crew and materials.

KAS's technically sophisticated control rooms offer exceptional versatility and can accommodate shoots of virtually any size and complexity. Features include global connectivity, full-staff accommodations, state-of-the-art equipment and ergonomic design for maximum comfort. Support areas include sound-isolated carpentry shops adjacent to stages, dressing rooms with private bath and shower, washer-dryers, green rooms, hair and makeup, wardrobe rooms, rehearsal space, controls rooms and offices. Multiple load-in options including a large street-level freight elevator are available to facilitate delivery and setup of materials.

Also on the premises is the acclaimed KAS Music & Sound, our mixing and recording studio featuring a stage large enough to accommodate a full 70-piece orchestra. Whether you need to review work in progress, or present your final cut to others, stroll over to our plush 97-seat Zukor Screening Room, just steps away from our sound stages.

If needed, KAS can provide equipment tailored to your individual production. We rent technical packages, Avid suites, lighting and grip equipment, and can provide you with expendables for both studio and location work - all at extremely competitive rates.

The KAS facilities are capable of providing both fiber-optic and satellite connectivity for broadcasting live or pre-recorded content anywhere in the world. These technologies can also be used for conducting teleconferences or beaming "dailys" back to headquarters. High-speed broadband internet access? Yes, we have that, too.
